Blackletter Advisory was founded by James Lee, a seasoned inhouse counsel cum chartered accountant. James’ consulting practice focuses on advising clients in the areas of blockchain & digital assets, corporate governance and commercial transactions, enterprise risk management and investment & business startup.
James graduated with LLB (Hons) from the University of London, he was also an ACCA qualified accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, in addition, he held MBA from the prestigious University of Melbourne. He has two decades of inhouse experience with multinational companies, prior to setting up Blackletter Advisory, James worked for and advised to various multinational companies eg. Huobi Global, Siemens, Orica, ASM, Rohde & Schwarz in legal, regulatory, and commercial intricacies, including but not limited to cross-border commercial transactions, corporate governance, investment projects (VC and funding), compliance and risk management etc.
